Return & Refund Policy

At Favofam, we are dedicated to craftsmanship. We select our timber carefully and finish each Wine Bar Shelf to ensure it becomes a proud centerpiece in your home. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, we understand that sometimes a product may not fit your space or vision as expected. This policy outlines how we handle returns, refunds, and exchanges for our handcrafted wooden items.
1. THE 30-DAY RETURN WINDOW
You have 30 days from the date your item is delivered to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your request must be initiated via email within this 30-day period.

If 30 days have gone by since your delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
2. NATURAL WOOD DISCLAIMER
Before initiating a return, please consider the nature of our materials. Our shelves are made from Real Solid Wood. Unlike engineered plastic or laminate, real wood is a living material with unique characteristics.

Natural Variations: Differences in grain patterns, mineral streaks, pinholes, and knots are natural features of the tree.

Color Tones: Wood absorbs stain differently depending on the grain density. Slight variations in color tone are to be expected.

Policy: These characteristics are what make your shelf unique. Returns based on natural wood variations (e.g., “The grain is too wavy”) are considered “Change of Mind” returns, not Defective/Damaged returns.
3. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
We use “Fortress-Grade” packaging, but accidents can happen in transit. If your shelf arrives damaged, we will replace it free of charge.

Reporting Timeframe: You must inspect your package immediately upon delivery. Please report any damages to support@favofam.com within 72 hours of receipt.

Required Evidence: To process your claim quickly, please provide:

Your Order Number.

Clear photos of the damaged product.

Photos of the outer box (showing any crushing/punctures).

Resolution: We will send a replacement part or a brand-new unit immediately at no cost to you.
4. “CHANGE OF MIND” RETURNS
If you decide to return the item because it doesn’t fit your decor, is too big/small, or you simply changed your mind:
A. Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for the full cost of return shipping.

Since our shelves are heavy furniture items, return shipping can be costly. We recommend using a trackable shipping service (UPS/FedEx) and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
B. Restocking Fee (20%)

A 20% Restocking Fee will be deducted from your refund.

Why? Upon return, our team must unbox, inspect the wood for scratches, clean, and re-package the item to ensure it is safe for resale. This fee covers the labor and materials involved.
C. Non-Refundable Shipping

The original shipping fee (e.g., the $14.99 flat rate) is non-refundable.

If your order received Free Shipping (orders over $599), the actual shipping cost incurred by Favofam to send the item to you will be deducted from the refund.
5. ELIGIBILITY & CONDITION
To qualify for a refund, the item must be in Resalable Condition.

Unused & Unmounted: The shelf must not have been installed on your wall. Once screws have been driven into the wood or mounting hardware used, the item is considered “Used” and cannot be returned.

Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original box with all internal protective foam and corner guards. Returns sent in loose boxes will likely be damaged in transit and will be rejected.
6. INSTALLATION LIABILITY
Favofam provides high-quality mounting hardware intended for standard installation (e.g., into wooden studs).

Customer Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the wall is capable of supporting the weight of the shelf and the wine bottles.

Liability: Favofam is not responsible for damage to your wall, broken wine bottles, or personal injury resulting from improper installation or overloading the shelf beyond its stated weight capacity.
7. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

Email Us: Contact support@favofam.com with your Order # and reason for return.

Get RMA: We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the correct US warehouse address.

Pack & Ship: Pack the item securely, write the RMA number on the box, and ship it back.

Refund: Once received and inspected (typically within 3-5 business days of arrival), we will process your refund to your original payment method within 7 business days.
8. CANCELLATIONS
Because we are a Ready-to-Ship brand, we process orders extremely fast.

Within 12 Hours: You may cancel for a full refund within 12 hours of placing the order.

After 12 Hours / Shipped: If a shipping label has been created, the order cannot be canceled. You must receive the item and follow the Return Policy (subject to restocking fees).

Refused Delivery: Please do not refuse the package. Carriers charge a penalty for “Return to Sender” shipments. This penalty plus return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
